September 1955: RLH 22 became one of only eight RLHs which changed from green to red with London Transport, in the course of an overhaul, after which it returned to Hornchurch garage

February 1955: Moved from London Transport's country area to central area, at Hornchurch garage, but still remained painted in its original green colour

1952: RLH 22 was built, painted in green for use in the London Transport country area.
