Personalized Signs

Personalized Signs ordered from Timebus are displayed on the front of our buses (where the route number and destination blind used to be). They can;

• advertise a company name or brand (in plain text)
• proclaim the names of a newly wed couple
• wish a happy birthday or anniversary
• share a social media hashtag
• differentiate where multiple vehicles are picking up together, to help members of a group to board the correct one

Our signs are professionally produced on black card with bespoke white text. We use the proper Johnston typeface font, as also found on the destination blinds of service buses in London since many decades ago.

Personalized Signs may usually be taken away afterwards, as a permanent souvenir of the day. If requested we can also keep individual signs to re-use on a future hire.

Please ensure you tick the 'Personalized Sign' option if making an online quotation request, as there is an extra charge. We need 14 days notice of the wording for us to produce Personalized Signs.

There is no word or character limit. But we recommend under 7 words for the most effective and readable display. Additional words up to around 25 are possible, however the size of the text and hence the legibility from a distance (and in photographs) will decrease accordingly.
