All three of these RLHs were sold directly from London Transport to Whippet Coaches of Hilton (now in Cambridgeshire) in September 1965. They were painted navy blue and believed to be used mainly for school bus services, but also some stage carriage work.

Whippet hung onto RLH 48 for 5 years after the others, before it was sold.
The radiator badges were changed, from green LT country area ones to red and blue AEC ones, to go better with the livery.
Whippet remain a current operator providing local buses in the area.
